Joshua Grant Buckway

Joshua Grant Buckway, 23, of Magna, UT, returned to his Heavenly home Saturday, October 8, 2016, due to injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Josh was born in Salt Lake City on December 14, 1992, to Jeffrey and Darlene Buckway, the youngest of six. Josh attended Cyprus High School and enjoyed working at Salt Lake Valley Dodge. He was an avid soccer fan and loved cheering for his home team, Real Salt Lake. Josh was fiercely loyal and loved his family. He is survived by his parents; Jeffrey and Darlene; brothers, Travis (Andrea), Matthew, and Kevin; sisters, Kristy and Stormy (Parker); nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Capri, Ryan, Nathaniel, and William; grandmothers, Karlene Thorkildsen, Darlene Clark, and Geri Buckway; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Joseph Buckway, Grant Clark, and Don Thorkildsen; and grandmother, Barbara Clark. Josh will be remembered as Joshy, a tender hearted, kind, and loving son and brother with a big heart. We love you Josh, and will miss you until we meet again.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 15, at 11 A.M. at Spencer 2nd ward at 8059 West 2700 South, Magna, UT, with a viewing one hour prior and on Friday, October 14, from 7-9 P.M. at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, UT. Interment to follow funeral services at Memorial Redwood Cemetery.
