Josephine May Hamlin Christensen, 80, died on Thursday October 1, 2015 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on May 19, 1935, in Grand Junction, Colorado to Charles and Sarah Hamlin. She married Milton Doyle Christensen on July 16, 1956 in the Logan Temple.
She was the youngest of eight children. She studied at BYU where she met Milton. They married and moved to Ithaca, New York. They returned to Utah and raised their family in Bountiful, Utah. She was an active member of the LDS Church and a woman of great faith. She had a strong testimony of the scriptures especially the Book of Mormon.
She is survived by her six children Eric (Marsha), Alan (Shelly), Dale (Shana), Gene (Cyndi), Linda Doxey (Todd), and Carol Hall (Richard); 26 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and all seven siblings, Elizabeth, Marvin, Leonard, Mary, Laura, Ethel, and Jean.
Funeral services will be held on Friday October 9th, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bountiful Utah Orchard Stake Center, 3599 South Orchard Drive. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery in Bountiful (1640 East Lakeview Drive), and one hour prior to the services. Burial will be at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
