Jonathan Michael Crook

Jonathan Michael Crook, age 55, died Sept. 9, 2019 in Murray, UT. He was born Feb. 7, 1964 in Oakland, CA to Michael and Peggy Crook. He married Jacque Fairbourn in 1983 and was blessed with four children: Libby, Josh, Kate, and Scott. He is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and he worked as both an automotive mechanic and an electrician. He loved classic cars, epic fantasy novels, loud music, and big fireworks displays. He also appreciated the arts, painting and drawing in his spare time, and attending plays and ballets. His beloved grandchildren – Charlotte, Arthur, and Oliver – were his first priority and greatest joy.
He is survived and will be greatly missed by his parents, big sister Staci, ex-wife, four children, three grandchildren, and two cats. He is preceded in death by his sister Cathy. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 11 a.m. at 8539 S. 2200 W. West Jordan, UT 84088.
