Jon Harris Barker, 62, passed away peacefully at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, February 2, 2016.
Born July 5, 1953 in Bountiful, Utah, To Ronald Elmo Barker and Kathryn Harris Barker. Married to Paula Thorpe, later divorced. Together they had three beautiful children – Alex, Cynthia and Nick. Married his loving partner, Irminia (Amy) Gould, August 11, 1990. For 23 years he was a ready mix driver for Geneva Rock. He retired June 18, 2014. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and converted to Roman Catholic in 2009.
Jon is survived by his wife of 25 years Amy; his children Jon Alexander, Cynthia and Nicholas; his sister Lisa (Barker) Baker and his brother Ronald W. Barker. Proceeded in death by parents and his brother J. Christopher.
