Jolene Peck Anast Trujillo

March 14, 1959 — January 8, 2016

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister passed away peacefully from this earth in the early hours of January 8, 2016.  She was born on March 14, 1959 to David and Pamela Peck.  She graduated from Granger High School in 1977.  That same year she met and fell in love with Jeffrey Anast.  They were married soon after.  Together they spent many years together before he passed away in 1996.  During this time, she excelled for many years as a banker at Valley Bank.  She eventually left to fulfill her job as a wife and mother.  In the 1990’s she went back to work, this time as the fulltime owner of Active Mobility.  She really enjoyed helping people who were immobile be able to get around.  During this time she met and married her second Love John Trujillo.  They enjoyed the last 24 years together.  In her final years she enjoyed her family.  She loved getting together with everyone, visiting and cooking for them.  She had a contagious laugh, a mischievous personality and a heart of gold!  Jolene is survived by her husband John, four children Greg (Audra), Valarie (Danny), Whitney (Chris), and Max, Step-Son Johnny (Julie); her father Dave, Stepmother Bernie, brothers Dave (Debbie) and Don (Desi); four grandkids Tyson, Cash, Cameron, and Marshall, Goddaughter Connie, two fur babies, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.  Jolene is preceded in death by her mother Pamela, sister DeAnn, and husband Jeff.  She was a beautifully unique and lovely woman who will be missed by all who knew her.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016, 2:00 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah.
May her memory be eternal.
