John M. Graham

John Morrow Graham was born on January 13, 1927, in Denver, Colorado to John M & Dora M (Rodgers) Graham. He took his last breath on October 1, 2019, at home in Kearns, Utah.
Enlisted into the United States Navy on October 13, 1944, honorably discharged on July 18, 1946, after serving on the LSM-249 during WWII.
On February 14, 1947, he married the love of his life Dona D Pickering in SLC, Utah.
John was a gifted dancer and musician. He loved to play guitar & his electric pianos. He was a devoted family man & friend. He was a proud veteran and told many stories about his love for the Navy and the love of his country.
Survived by his wife Dona, children Mrs. John (Linda) Graham, Connie (Robin) Jensen, Cindy (Garth) Neilsen, Brad (Janice) Graham, & sister Margaret Wach, 19 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his parents John & Dora Graham, George & Ethel Pickering; his children John M Graham III, Candis Lee Graham; siblings Rodney Wach, Opal & Joe Crooks, Maxine & Frank Reed, Jack & Betty Pickering, George Pickering, Paul & Betty Pickering, Gene Pickering, & Ruth Pickering.
Funeral Services will be held at Memorial Redwood Mortuary on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at 1:00 pm with a viewing two hours prior.
Internment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park Cemetery, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City, UT.
