John “Jack” Donaldson

August 8, 1935 — October 16, 2020

John (Jack) Donaldson returned to his Heavenly Father on October 16, 2020. Jack was born on August 11, 1935 in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High and the U of U. Jack worked his entire life in the field of radiology (45 yrs). He worked in numerous hospitals in the Salt Lake area as well as in the California area.
Jack married Shirley Kay Graham on 05/08/1959, later divorced.
Jack married his true soul mate, Betty Y. Bartlett on February 14,1997 in the Salt Lake temple for time and was later sealed to her in the Jordan River temple for eternity on August 8,1998. Betty will sorely miss her precious love, for Jack was her life.
Jack leaves his wife and soul mate, Betty; children: David & Linda Donaldson, Scott & Deanna Donaldson, Mark & Heather Donaldson, Cathie Donaldson, Dian Tune, Shari & Mike Johnson, Teri & Scott Willden;  32 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren.
Jack was a member of the LDS church his entire life and loved the gospel with all of his heart. He was an active member his entire life and held many leadership positions throughout his life. Jack served an honorable mission in the Eastern states from 1955 to 1957. Served as Elders Quorum President, Seventies Group Leader, High Priest Leader, 1st & 2nd Counselor in Bishoprics and several Stake Leadership Positions.
Jack was preceded in death by his mother, Emmeretta Gabbott Brown; father, John A. Donaldson; grandson, Zachary Faulkner; granddaughter, Natalia Lopez; and sister, Beverly Miller.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Mountain View Cemetery, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
