John Henry Dearden

John Henry Dearden, 44, of Taylorsville, Utah passed from this life on November 3, 2017.  John was born September 6, 1973 to Bill and Edith (Warnick) Dearden in Delta, Utah. John was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Order of the Arrow.  He graduated from Brighton High School in 1991 and then served in the U.S. Army from 1991 to 1995. He worked for Les Olson Company the last 22 years. John loved to be with his family and friends.  He was passionate about spending time in the mountains, hunting, and helping others.
John was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend. John is survived by his girlfriend Corrie Golightly and her children Kaurrie Golightly, Aubry Golightly, and Kellen John Billings. His first wife Holly (Hunt) Dearden and their son Ethan Henry Dearden.  His second wife Gloria (Robinson) Dearden, her daughter Marchè Ramirez, and their son Hunter John Dearden. Parents Bill and Edith Dearden, sister Penny (Kirk) Foote (Connor, Annemarie, Dylan), brother Branden (Jackie) Dearden (Hailey, Brinley, Lindsey). His second family parents Jim and Debbie Olson, brother James (Sydney) Olson (Jesse (Hailey) and Mason (Alyx)), sister Jodie (Chris) Noorda (Talee, Kinzlee, Lillee, Charlee), brother Matt (Melissa) Olson (Riley (Taylour), Dylan, Tristan).
Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11/11/17 at 11am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Butler West LDS Stake Center 1845 East 7200 South, SLC Utah. Friends and family may call at the Memorial Murray Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E Friday, 11/10/17 from 6-8 pm and the day of the service at the church 9:00-10:30 am. John will be laid to rest in the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery 3115 E Bengal Blvd (7600 South). All are welcome to join his family for a graveside dedication, including Military Rites as tribute to his service in the Army.
