John Douglas “Doug” Mckean

August 24, 1960 — November 22, 2020

John Douglas “Doug” McKean, loving husband, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away suddenly into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Nov 22, 2020, due to complications of the corona virus. He was born on Aug 24, 1960 in Ogden, Utah to John Jerrold McKean and Sue McKean Morgan.
Doug was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He served a mission in Ventura California, and married his sweetheart Melanie Joy Liti in the Jordan River Temple on May 3, 2003.
Doug was a very loving soul. He loved people and was kind to everyone he knew, he never hesitated to give what he had, he had a fun sense of humor and liked to tell jokes. Doug has many nieces and nephews who he loved spending time with. He struggled with disability most of his life, yet despite his many trials he never complained or lost his sense of humor, or his testimony of the gospel.
Doug is survived by his wife Melanie, his siblings Debbie Walker (Rocky), Pixie Calderwood (Kerry), Jani Thomas, Jill Westergard (Val), Michelle McKean, and Jerry McKean (Mandy), and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his father John Jerrold McKean, his mother Sue Morgan, step father Kent Morgan, his nephew Connor Calderwood, brother in-law Scott Thomas, and step brother Matthew Morgan (Bonz).
We love and miss you Doug and look forward to being together again.
