Joe R Meza, 97 years old, passed away in West Valley City, Utah on February 28, 2018. Joe was born October 8, 1920, in Weld County, Colorado to Jose and Macaria Meza. He shared his family home with a sister, Augustina Tina Tovar. He served in WWII, U.S. Army Air Corp from 1941-1945 and received an Asiatic Pacific Service Medal. He was married to Susie Negrete.
Joe is survived by Joel (d.) (Julie) Meza, (Pearl (Bill) Godwin, Ivonne (David) Gekas, Arthur (Sheila) Meza, Andrew (Machelle) Meza, Ivette (Joe) Trujillo, Jacqueline (Roland) Tsuya and many grandchildren.
Services will be March 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM, with a viewing one hour prior at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S Redwood Road, West Jordan. Interment will be at Utah Veterans Cemetery, 17111 S 1700 W, Bluffdale, Utah.
