Joe Martinez

One of life’s most precious gifts passed from this world into the arms of Our Loving Lord on September 7, 2013. Joe Martinez was born May 25, 1934 in LaMadera, New Mexico to Eleanor Griego and Sixto Martinez. He married Dorothy Marquez on November 28, 1953. He leaves behind his loving wife, Dorothy, and two in-laws Frances and Corky. He is survived by 2 sisters and 1 brother. Joe and Dorothy together have 3 children, Joey (Cathy), Jody (Larry), and Wayne (Kitty). Joe is blessed with 11 grandchildren, 20.5 great grandchildren and too many friends and family to mention. A special thank you to A Step Forward Hospice (Katie). Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 4501 West 5215 South in Kearns. Viewings will be held on Thursday evening, September 12 from 7-9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:30 pm, and 1 hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Interment to follow the service at Redwood Memorial Park. We look forward until we see you again.
