Baker. She peacefully passed away on March 25, 2024, in Taylorsville, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and sincerity.

Jody dedicated many years of her life to working at Sportsman Warehouse, where she excelled in inventory control. Her commitment to her work was remarkable, earning her the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Jody's true joy stemmed from her roles as a wonderful mother to her daughters Jessica Wheeler, Tiffany Nichols, Danielle Degen, and their respective families. Her presence brought warmth and light to their lives, creating cherished memories that will endure through generations.

Jody was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter day Saints.

A woman of many talents and interests, Jody found solace in hobbies such as cross stitch, sewing, and puzzles. She also found great joy in spending quality time with her family members, nurturing deep connections that will forever hold them together.

One of Jody's proudest accomplishments was being a square dancer with the "Happy Squares," where she found delight in the art of movement and rhythm alongside dear friends who shared her passion for dance.

Jody is predeceased by her father Harry D. Baker, mother Grace H. Baker, brother Gil Baker, brother-in-law Tracy Newmeyer, and brother-in-law Frank Newman. She is survived by her beloved sisters Vicki Newmeyer, and Robyn Newman, sister in law Janice Baker, daughter Jessica Wheeler and son-in-law Jermone Wheeler, daughter Tiffany Nichols and son-in-law Ron Nichols, daughter Danielle Degen and son-in-law Mike Degen, numerous grandchildren who were the apple of her eye, and one precious great-grandchild.
