Joan Ohrn

Joan Vadnais Ohrn died on December 24, 2018 in Salt Lake City, UT at the age of 90. She was born on December 4, 1928 in Salt Lake City, UT to Louis H. and Genevieve Vadnais. She married Milton George Ohrn on February 19, 1949.
Joan collected dolls and was a member of the Red Hatter’s. She and Milt loved to travel and dance together. They also loved entertaining friends and family at the pool. Joan graduated from East High School and later continued her education at the University of Utah.
She is survived by her children; Karen (Gary) Vetterli, Laurie (J) Green, Susan (Tom) O’Connor, Gayle (Nate) Barton, George (John) Burke-Ohrn, as well as 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren with 3 more on the way, and 1 great great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband and brother.
Funeral service will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary (3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights, UT). Friends and family may call one-hour prior to service and/or from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 30th.
