Joan E Green, age 81, passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 25, 2022. Joan was born January 16, 1941, Murray Utah, the daughter of Donald and Hilve Lundberg. In 1961 Joan married Noel Green.
She raised her children in the house her father built for her and loved gardening. She was a talented watercolor painter and became known for her hand-painted greeting cards for friends and family.
She was preceded in death by husband Noel, parents and twin brother Jack.
She is survived by her children Jaren and Pam, Carla and Mark, Steve and Connie, and Bryan and Tami, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Thursday March 3, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Midvale, 87 East 7100 South. Friends may attend a viewing on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the address above or on Thursday from 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be held at Mountain View Memorial Estates Cemetery 7800 South 3115 East, Cottonwood Heights, Utah.
