Jewell Johns

Our beloved Jewell went home to be with her Lord on May 25, 2014. Jewell was loving and caring soul who enjoyed spending time with loved ones and doing volunteer work at the hospital and at her church. Jewell was a very special lady, and left a great impression with everyone she met, and was a blessing to her family. She will truly be missed by all.
Jewell was an Executive Secretary for many years before retiring for medical reasons
She was preceded in death by her sweet daughter Lisa “Tako” and her parents Harry Roteman Emery and Hazel Curry, and sister Linda Shields.
She is survived by her husband David, step sons David and Dale, and their families, siblings Patty (David) Batrow, Sherry Curry, and Larry (Robin) Curry, numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Services will be held at 11:00, Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the Discovery Christian Community, 5929 S 900 E. A Viewing will be held from 6-8 Monday, June 2, at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 E 900 E and one hour prior to services.
