Jetta Orton Ashworth

Jetta Orton Ashworth, age 94, passed away on July 19, 2022 in Murray, Utah. She was born on December 3, 1927 in Parowah, Utah to Lorin S. Orton and Dean Bentley. She married Oliver Mack Ashworth on May 3, 1951.
She loved to watch the Utah Jazz. She spent much of her time throughout the year making Christmas ornaments for all the kids. Watching game shows was a favorite pastime. She also enjoyed watching all the neighbors up the street from her big front room window; and enjoyed even more, telling you about what they were doing. She worked for the old Cottonwood Hospital in Murray for 21 years.
She is survived by her sons Craig (Carol), Scott, Richard, and daughter Bonnie (Dennis) Hardy, 14 grandkids, 45 great-grandkids and 14 great-great grandkids, also her sister, Loren Lovell.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bryce, sisters, Sarah and Jerolyn and son, Lyle Ashworth.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2022. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM, with a graveside service following at 11 AM. Services will take place at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road, Taylorsville, Utah 84123.
