Jesus Martin Colotla, age 71, died on December 18, 2013 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born on January 30, 1942 in Mexico City, Mexico to Victor Manuel Colotla and H. Rosa Rojero. He married Carmen “Mely” Bonilla on September 9, 1967. Jesus was an outstanding tennis player. He loved playing different sports including ice hockey. He was an avid movie collector. Jesus had a passion for the Hospitality Industry in which he was a manager for over 25 years. He studied business in Mexico and was a successful entrepreneur. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Carmen “Mely” Colotla; brother Luis Colotla, Mexico City; daughter Nayeli (Carlos) Robles; son Tona (Christy) Colotla; son Balam Colotla, son Antua Colotla; grandchildren Carlitos Robles, Aurora Robles, Jayden Colotla, & Justyne Colotla. Jesus was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Federico and Victor. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 23, 2013, 11:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 300 East 11800 South in Draper, Utah. Family will be at the church on Monday one hour prior to the service. Following the service interment will be at Redwood Memorial Park, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan.
