Jess Roger Barker

Jess Roger Barker, age 70, passed away on March 31, 2021 while in the care of Western Peaks Specialty Hospital. He was surrounded by his loved ones and passed away peacefully where he was freed from monitors, oxygen machines and tubes. Roger was a fighter right up to the end. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Roger was genuinely kind to everyone around him. He had a huge loving heart and always helped where he could.
He is survived by his son, Roger Ray Barker (Brandy); daughter, Tiffiny Jo Barker (Dave); siblings: George A. Barker (Linda), Robert A. Barker Jr. (April), Kathy B. Muir (Larry), Lori B. Pringle (Dave) and Ross E. Barker (Julie); grandchildren; Landon (Kristy), Bailey (Nicole), Shelby, Eli, Jordan (Haylea), Shawn and Wyatt; great grandchildren, Jayden, Jesse, Dakota and Olivia.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Aubrey and Idona Smith Barker; brother, Michael S. Barker; sons, William Robert “Billy” Barker and Casey Lee Barker.
Services will be held at Memorial Lakeview Mortuary and Cemetery, 1640 East Lakeview Drive, Bountiful, Utah on Thursday,  April 08 2021. The viewing will begin at 11:00 AM, the funeral will be at 1:00 PM and the graveside will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Jess Roger Barker Memorial Account #9119710  at America First Credit Union to help offset the funeral costs.
