Jerry D. Davies, 78, of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at Woodland Park Care Center, Salt Lake City, Utah of natural causes.
He was born to the late Edwin Charles and Geneva Jorgensen Davies, February 9, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Jerry married Julia Lucero Davies in Salt Lake City. She preceded him in death on December 4, 1997.
He is survived by two children, Jerry and Gary Davies of Salt Lake City. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Julie; brothers, Harry, Bob and Don Davies and son, Doug Davies.
The family would like to thank the devoted and wonderful staff at Woodland Park Care Center and Bristol Hospice for their tireless, loving care and devotion to Jerry. You are truly angels on earth.
Graveside services will be held Friday, December 13th, 10:30 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 So. Redwood Road, with a viewing half hour prior to services.
