Jeremy Thayn Thatcher was born on March 13, 1992, in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He left this world far too soon at the age of 32. Jeremy's loving Spirit is carried on by his 2 amazing and precious boys, Hunter and Jackson Thatcher.

His surviving family is: father Lynn Thatcher mother Terri Henson; and his 4 sisters: Amanda Edmunds, Samantha Pelletier, Steffany Greco, and Rebecca Thatcher.

When Jeremy was born, there was no one as happy as his father who finally got his little boy. Jeremy was the only brother of 4 sisters. When he was presented to his 3 older sisters they immediately fell in love and took over as little mothers. For his first three years of his life didn't have to use words to communicate his desires when his sisters were around. He would simply point and grunt and his sisters would immediately translate his desires, and if they were wrong, he went along with it anyway because he had a great system going. When he finally started to speak and to show his personality we found out how funny, tender, loving, and sweet he was. When he was a toddler his aunt one day called him, "Budda Bean" and after that we forever nicknamed him, “Bud”.

Bud was never the loudest in the room, but he was the one you would want to be next too so you could hear his jokes, enjoy his laughs, and be in his calming presence. Jeremy made everyone he knew feel valued, loved and supported. He would always say, “you always show up for family,” and he kept to his word in every way. I know he did the same for his friends.

Bud had many hobbies. He loved to be outdoors, fishing, hiking, backpacking and hunting. He especially loved fishing with his boys. He was an incredible mechanic and enjoyed fixing cars and motorcycles. He loved guns. He built some of his own and he loved to show them off. He was a Lego master. From the time he was a little boy he loved building with Legos and that continued on into his adult life and shared that hobby with his boys. He loved movies. No one still has DVDs. But he did and he had a large collection of his favorites.

Jeremy held many titles in his life.

He was a Marine. PVT Thatcher served our country with honor and while serving made lifelong friends whom he cherished and they loved and respected him as well.

He was an artist. He didn’t spend alot of time drawing, but when he did, he produced incredible works of art.

He was a musician. He loved to play the drums and guitar and loved to listen to music. He went to concerts as often as he could and he shared his love of music with others.

He was an DIY master. He inherited his dad’s and grandpa Henson’s talents. He could fix anything. If he couldn't fix it, then it was simply trash anyway.

His most recent title at Hill Air Force Base was wage lead for the plastic composite fabricator. He was a hard worker. He was dedicated to his work and doing it well. Everyone who worked with Jeremy loved and respected him, and he felt the same way towards them. He was a leader that people wanted to follow and a patient mentor as well. He was a brother. Bud was the best brother four girls could ask for. His easy going nature made it easier for him to endure being with girls all the time. I won't mention the fact that he would sometimes want to play barbies with his sisters, and that mostly meant he got the ugly barbies and just made them stare at each other and sit with their legs folded backwards, while his sisters did all the talking. Bud was a fierce protector of his little sister, who he loved to tease as well. He adored her and watched out for her through out her whole life. He was always there for his sisters. Whatever, whenever, however his sisters needed him he was always there for them. In the good times and in the hard times.

He was a son. Bud was a devoted loving son to his parents and he did his best his whole life to make his parents proud.

Jeremy was a Father. He was made to be a father. He was loving, patient, kind, and tender towards his sons and they absolutely adored him as their dad. He loved and cherished every second with his boys. They were his whole world. Nothing in this world brought him more purpose, joy and pride then those two cherished boys. He lived his life for them and worked hard so that he could provide for them and give them the best life he could.

Jeremy was our hero. He was the man that his sisters all want their husbands to be like. To us he was flawless. However, like his dad and oldest sister he did hate cats, but we can forgive him for that. This world will not be the same without him. There will not be a single day that he will not be missed. His memory will go on in the faces of his boys. His name will go on in the middle name of his nephew. His spirit will go on with all those he cared about because I know in death he will be just as loyal as he was in his life. Now Jeremy will live on in our hearts. You will never be forgotten. Semper Fi.
