Jeraldene “Jerry” Wall

“Jerry” Wall (9/26/30-11/13/14) passed away Thursday surrounded by her family and friends she loved so much. Jerry was born to Leander and Dolly Madsen in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from South High School in 1947. She married Howard Robinson in 1948 and together they had 6 children (Sandra, Scott, Joseph, Todd, Jan, and Jill). They later divorced. She married Jack Wall in 1975 and later divorced. Family was everything to Jerry. She loved her 6 children, 11 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren with all her heart and made sure they always knew of her love. Jerry worked for American Express in Human Resources until she retired in 1993. She loved her work family there and was extremely proud to be named Employee of the Year. Jerry loved music, dancing and playing cards. We will all remember her giving heart and how she bought extra gifts for unexpected guests at family parties! Jerry was selfless and caring and loved by all those who met her. She will be greatly missed by her little dog Molly but she is surely throwing the ball for her from Heaven. We will all miss our mom and grandma and are comforted with thoughts of the great reunion she is having with her parents and loved ones who have passed on before.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Mountain View Memorial Estates 3115 E 7800 S Cottonwood Heights, UT. Friends and family may visit from 1:00-1:45 PM prior to the services.
The family would like to send special thanks to the staff at Country Life Jeraldene and her favorite nurse Steve; as well as, Intermountain Riverton Hospital and their amazing nurses (Kathi, Traci, Melissa, and Ashley) who made Jerry’s last days with us full of family, friends, laughter and lots of love.
