Jennifer Christine Jones Hutchinson, 51, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt passed away on August 21, 2017 due to complications from congestive heart failure. She was born in Ravenna, Ohio on April 3, 1966 to Patricia Rhodes Jones and Edward Jones.
Jennifer was a 1984 graduate of James A. Garfield High School in Garrettsville Ohio. She also attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah as a history major.
She served an LDS mission to the Texas Dallas area from 1988-1989. She became great friends with her mission companion Michelle Stevens Hubbard. She also met Scott Hutchinson, the love of her life, in the same mission. They were married in the Manti Temple on August 24, 1991.
Jennifer enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband and attending stage plays at the Desert Star Playhouse. She most recently had worked for UPS.
Jennifer was a talented artist who created many cross-stitch pieces she gave away. She enjoyed writing poetry, collecting cookbooks, and unique wristwatches. She also loved cats, mysteries, Jordan almonds, and was a wonderful, creative cook known for her homemade chicken noodle soup.
Always an avid reader, she loved the Harry Potter series and Agatha Christie novels. She especially loved family history, discovering various ancestors and connecting with other researchers nationwide. She also had a great sense of humor and wry wit. She achieved her dream of seeing Donny Osmond perform at Abravenel Hall. She made friends easily, had a compassionate and giving nature. Only 9 days prior to her passing, she had a fun day together with her mom, sister, and niece Audrey celebrating her mom’s birthday with dinner, conversation, and of course shopping at Hobby Lobby.
She was truly grateful for her father-in-law Jim who treated her with kindness and respect. She will always be loved and missed and never forgotten by those who truly knew her.
