Jeffrey L. Royce (67) passed away on March 13, 2023, in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born on November 10, 1955, in Elgin, Illinois to Carolyn Miller and Stewart Thornton.
He is survived by Clint Royce (Mary), stepfather, Brian (Kathy LeMay) Royce, brother. Nieces; Breanna Royce and Kerensa (Fidel) Canchola, and, Candace and Coralie Wilkes, cousins.
Jeff worked for Granite School District 26 years, he took great pride and was dedicated to his job where he retired as an associate custodian. Jeff loved sports and was an avid baseball player and a talented outfielder from a very young age. Fishing is another hobby that made him very happy. He also loved music of most every genre and he had begun some of his own compositions on a keyboard. Jeff will be remembered for many of his handwork accomplishments, and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by Carolyn Miller, mother, and Stewart Thornton, father. Grandparents; Florence and Carl Miller and Grandma Garfield.
Services will be held on Friday, April 7th, 2023, at Memorial Redwood Cemetery, from 1:00 to 2:30 PM. A gathering will be held at the vault where Jeff will eternally rest. We welcome family and friends the opportunity to share a prayer, memories and stories of Jeff.Service Information
