Jeff Merrill

Jeffery Brent Merrill (64) passed away unexpectedly from an ATV accident on May 31, 2021. He was the son Dick & Betty Merrill (both deceased) He was married to Rhoda Abbott (deceased). Jeff was a loving brother, uncle, husband, son, and friend. He spent 30 years working at Mark Steel as a project manager and estimator. He retired 5 years ago. Jeff was a diehard and loyal Jazz and Green Bay Packers fan. He was an excellent cook, woodworker, and always looked forward to spending time at his cabin in the Uintah Mountains (Defa Ranches).
 
He leaves behind his brother Bob Merrill (Chris), sister Debbie Gill, 7 nephews- Matt, Jon, and Grant Gill, Michael, Ryan, Eric, and Kyle Merrill and Rhoda’s son Damon.
 
A small graveside service will be held where friends and family may come to celebrate his life. Friday, June 11, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Memorial Lakeview Cemetery 1640 East Lakeview Drive Bountiful, UT.
