Jed Anderson

Jed W. Anderson passed away Saturday July 12, 2014 in Holladay, Utah. He was born April 13, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James LeRoy and Louretta Grace Terry Anderson. He married Joyce Omer December 23, 1948. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.
Jed was raised in Holladay, Utah where heownedJed’s Barber Shop. He proudly served in the US Navy. After retirement, Jed had many volunteer jobs including service at the Salt Lake Veterans Hospital and Mt. Olympus Senior Center.
Jed is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Omer Anderson and children Jan (John) Minnock, Jed J. (Wendy) Anderson, Jeff (Janet) Anderson, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Holladay-Cottonwood Mortuary, 4670 S Highland Drive. Viewings will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Friday at the mortuary. Interment will follow at Holladay Memorial Park, 4900 South Memory Lane (1990 E). Condolences may be shared with the family at www.holladaycottonwoodmortuary.com
