It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Sanders Inman of Murray, Utah on February 11, 2022 after a short Illness.
Jean was born on July 11, 1942 in Ogden, Utah to Leland ‘Bus’ and Lucille Sanders. After graduating St. Joseph High School in 1960, Jean pursued and obtained her nursing certificate at Holy Cross Hospital Nursing School. Soon after, Jean Sanders met Wayne Inman and they married in 1967. Later on in life, Jean earned her Bachelor’s Degree From University of St. Francis in Nursing. She had a very successful career in the nursing field, retiring from Cottonwood Hospital in 2006 after 45 years of nursing service. In her retirement, Jean enjoyed shopping trips, travel, bowling, and was an avid golfer. Jean was always up for visiting over lunch or dinner with family and friends. Those connections were ones she cherished.
Jean is survived by her husband Wayne Inman; son William Inman and daughter-in-law Beth Inman; Granddaughters Sarah Inman, Sage Inman and Jessie Pugmire; as well as her brother Thomas Sanders and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her daughter Lindi Inman, her sister-in-law Carol Sanders, and her parents Leland and Lucille Sanders.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 24, 2022 at 11:00AM. St Vincent de Paul Parish Church, 1375 East Spring Lane, SLC Utah 84117. A viewing will take place prior to the Funeral Mass, from 10:00AM -10:45AM.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a luncheon in Jean’s honor following the Funeral Mass. Interment following the luncheon: Memorial Mountain View Cemetery-3115 E. Bengal Blvd (7800 South), SLC Utah 84121. In lieu of flowers, Jean would have loved knowing you donated to your favorite charity.Service Information
