Jean Long

Our beloved mother, Jean, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 peacefully, due to old age. Jean had just celebrated her 95th birthday with her family on October 13, 2015. She celebrated with her favorite dessert – Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream. Jean was born October 13, 1920 in Burlington, Iowa to Lewis and Clara Peterson. She graduated from Burlington High School in June 1938. She worked as a secretary with HB Green Trucking Company until her marriage to Robert L. Long on April 10, 1947.
She had two children- Robert L. Long (Christine) and Patricia L. Long. She was blessed with two grandsons, Christopher J. Long and Robert Brandt Long. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Bob who passed on January 3, 1991.
