Jay “J.H.” Howarth Wells

July 18, 1977 — July 7, 2018

Jay Howarth Wells peacefully left this world on July 7, 2018. Jay was born September 18, 1977 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marinus Jay Wells and Sharon Lyn Green. After a long courtship Jay married Paula on December 17, 2016. Jay took on parenthood with true commitment and had strong work ethic.
He loved his cars and was meticulous about their care. He had a love and knowledge about any car. He could tell you in detail about a car, about the engine and if it was worthy enough to buy.
J.H. always wanted to drive a semi-truck when he was young and he did just that. He traveled all over the United States and his favorite state to visit was Tennessee. He loved how green it was and all the trees.
He was an avid KSL shopper. Always looking for a good deal. J.H. loved the great outdoors.
J.H. held a special place in his heart for his beloved dogs Yikes and new dog Benson.
J.H. is survived by his wife Paula and step boys Parker and Carson, parents Marinus and Sharon, sisters Kimberly (Lee) and Tiffany (Mark), brother Brian (Lex), nephews Bryce, Ethan, Holland, Sebastian, Aiden and his nieces Courtney and Megan (Matt).
He was preceded in death by his grandpa and his faithful companion Yikes who he loved with all his heart.
