In Loving Memory of “Fingers”
On July 12, 2016 we had to say goodbye to our brother, uncle, and friend Jared Groves. He was known as a gentle giant. Jared had a love for sports, especially his Detroit Lions, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with the ones he loves. Jared had a passion for music, movies, and always wanting to learn new things. He was loved by all who knew him. Everyone he knew became part of his family. He would always find a way to make people laugh. We will miss his loving, caring spirit. Jared is survived by his siblings, Julee (Todd) Groves Butler, Justin Groves, Janna Groves, and Jeromy (Silas) Groves; grandfather Paul Romero, Aunts and Uncles; Nieces and nephews; Cousins; and friends he considered family. He is finally reunited with our parents Harold and Barbara Groves, sister Jolanda Groves, Grandmother Olympia, Grandfather Harold Groves, Cousin Jason Romero, and other loved ones who have gone before us. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 starting at 6 PM at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 11 AM, at Redwood Memorial Mortuary and Cemetery.
