Janie Minardi

December 19, 1968 — April 18, 2020

Janie Marie Brady Minardi, age 51, passed away April 18th, 2020, to remain in the Love of her Jesus, her everything.

She was born on December 19th, 1968, in Murray, Utah, to Gordon Brady and Anita Morrow. She attended Bingham, Olympus, and Skyline High schools.

She married Paul “Bup” Minardi on January 20th, 1989. Leaving their individual selves, they became “Bup & Janie” forever! Together they had two beautiful children, Justus and Kylee. They made a wonderful life together in Park City, Utah, where she spent the last 27 years of her life. She worked at many places, her favorite of which were the hospitality jobs where she could interact and brighten the days of everyone she encountered, including her kids as their school lunch lady. In addition to camping with her family, her favorite activities included snuggling and PDA with Bup, being so involved with her kids, walking her dog 3-4 times daily, and fellowshipping with her closest girlfriends and sisters at lunch, bible studies, Creekside, the gym, and work. She absolutely loved the one-on-one times where she could truly get to know you and visit. She made everyone around her feel important and special, listening with her unconditional ear and nonjudgmental heart; a peacemaker always ready to share in others’ burdens. There were no ordinary moments with Janie. Affectionate and kind to all, she was a dedicated wife, mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She smiled infectiously with all of her teeth, heart, and soul. She constantly surrounded herself and those around her with an aura of love. She also had her wild side, making funny faces with her tongue sticking out, jumping off balconies onto the couch playing tag, and on the dance floor where she was the cutest boogie machine you’ll ever see. When family game night came around, which she always made sure of, she was every team captain’s first pick. Janie always wanted to be with everyone and have everyone together. She is the glue that holds so many of us together, who is with us now and always will be. For someone that tiny in body, she was enormous in spirit! It’s hard to capture her essence… sometimes subtle… sometimes bold… in just a few words. Our thoughts and memories would fill pages. Thank you so much Janie, Seedlet, Nanie, for your selfless presence, radiance, and sincerity in our lives! We miss and love you and can hardly wait to boogie with you again, with your spirit here on Earth, and for eternity on the dance floors of Heaven.

Janie is survived by her husband Paul “Bup” Minardi, son Justus Minardi, daughter Kylee (Brock and granddaughter Selah) Curry, mother Anita Morrow, siblings: Scott (Sheri) Brady, Kip (Michelle) Street, Brett (Christy) Brady, Crissi (Bruce) Maycock, Jamie (Darryl) Jones, Shaun Brady, Lisa Brady, Stormi Brady, Cindy (Zane) Morris, Destry Brady, Robby (Nicole) Morrow, and all of you, her dear family and friends.
