Janice Willden

Janice Christina Willden passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday February 15th. Born to Victor and Maurine (Peterson) Cederholm in Salt Lake City Utah, Janice and her sister Lois enjoyed growing up in Salt Lake. As a teenager she worked as a waitress at the “Coon Chicken Inn” where she met her husband Ellott. They were married for 30 years until his death in 1983. During that time they raised eight children, and ran the family business. In addition, Janice had a long career with the US Postal Service.
Later she met Alan Bleizeffer, her Life Partner for 31 years, together they lived in Murray and share many wonderful adventures traveling and visiting 38 states. In their spare time they made a beautiful home with their two dogs Mini and Bucky. Janice loved to play the slots, and spending time with her family, she loved having the grandkids over to swim in the summer. Our Mom had many friends who enjoyed her sharp wit, charismatic sense of humor and sweet accepting nature.
Janice is survived by: Sister Lois (Blaine) Fife, Children, Son Victor (Annette) Willden, Daughter Laurel (Kelly) Stephens, Son Thomas (Patricia) Willden, Daughter Brenda (Steven) Barney, Son Jon (Letty) Willden, Son Adam (Monica) Willden, Daughter Jenifer (Tom) Vigil, Daughter Jill Court and Step-Son Cliff (Jodee) Bleizeffer, 21 Grand Children and 13 Great Grand Children. She is preceded in death by her parents Victor and Maurine, Husband Ellott, Daughter-in-Law Shelley, Sons-in-Law George and Greg.
The viewing will be held at Murray Memorial Mortuary 5850 South 900 East Murray, UT 84121 on Friday evening the 19th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday the 20th with a memorial service to follow.  The Family asks that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to Salt Lake chapter of the American Diabetes Association.  Condolences may be left at www.MemorialUtah.com.
