Janice Marilyn Job Bacher

December 20, 1941 — May 1, 2019

Janice Marilyn Job Bacher, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on May, 1, 2019 after a long illness. She was born on December 20, 1941 to Jack Wilson Job and Dorothy Beth Welte, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She graduated from Olympus High School, attended Brigham Young University where she fell in love and married her eternal spouse, Kenneth B. Bacher. They were married and sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She was the mother of four wonderful children: Stephanie, Mike (Jen), Aimee (Robert) and Marni (Brandon); and eight fantastic grandchildren who she called her “magnum opus”; sister, Vicky; brother, Dr. Jeffery Job; many nieces and nephews; and family.
Words cannot express how much she was loved or will be missed. She was always giving, but our hope will always be in the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The family would like to thank, from the bottom of our hearts, all the kind things that were done for her by friends and family and the angels in hospice that helped her so much these last few months.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 South State Street, Sandy, Utah from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, and again on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at the Leilani Chapel at 10375 South Leilani Drive, Sandy, Utah from 9:30 – 10:45 AM, the funeral service will be at 11:00 AM.
