Janice Haun Hill left this earth peacefully on April 12, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1946, in Texas to Don Haun and Ireta Rollins.
Janice graduated from Highland High School and married Harold Hill in 1966. They had two children, Marlon Hill and Emilie Hill.
Janice was an accomplished painter, tennis player, and golfer, and had many cherished friends. She worked closely with Harold for many years in building his businesses. She worked with Harold and together they owned many wonderful companies throughout the Salt Lake Valley including Bad Ass Coffee, Brass Banana, Eat a Burger, Eibos, Ferentelli, Reds Frozen yogurt, American Grill, Casa del Sol and Café Central. She also assisted Harold in his real estate company, Hill and Hill Martin Real Estate. Janice and Harold later divorced.
Janice was known for her fashionable style and quick wit. She loved to keep the kids and grandkids on their toes and loved to swim in her pool with her life vest on. She collected artistic dishes and artwork, such as Lannie Bernard and RC Gorman, and loved Coca-Cola memorabilia.
She is survived by her son Marlon (Krista) Hill; daughter Emilie Smith; grandchildren Gwyneth Smith, Calvin (Kylie Hunter) Hill, and Lauren Hill; sisters Pat (Bill) Allen and Kay (Jim) Coyle. She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ireta Haun, and Harold Hill.
Private Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Memorial Redwood Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah, from 2-3 PM, followed by a graveside service from 3-3:30 PM.
