Janet Hansen Lefevre

Janet LeFevre passed away August 15, 2019 at her home in Sandy surrounded by her family.
She was born in Logan, Utah on April 20, 1945 to Earl Hansen and Lyle Wilding Hansen Bowman. Married Dennis LeFevre in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 12, 1967.
Our mom was our rock. The heart of our family. She loved us all unconditionally and was always our biggest fan. She loved to read and could have been a Jeopardy champion with her vast knowledge. Who needs the internet when you could ask Mom? Avid sports fan especially the Utah Jazz and Denver Broncos. She greeted everyone with a smile and her laugh was genuine and contagious. Everyone always wanted to be at Dennis and Janet’s house because you knew that you would be welcomed with open arms, great food, and fun! Her applesauce cake and cinnamon rolls are legendary! The memories she left us with are many and the strength she instilled in us will get us through until we can be with her again. Goodnight, I love you, and thank you!
Survived by her children Dana, Matt (Angela), sister Suzie Denham (Breck), brother Rand Kunz (JoEllen), and her honorary son Robbie Sawatis. Many nieces, nephews, cousins (that were more like brothers and sisters), and dear friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, niece Tristin Denham with who she shared a special bond, and her buddy Mayzie Mae.
Funeral services will be Wednesday August 21, 2019 @ 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial Estates. 7800 south 3115 east.  There will be a viewing Tuesday evening 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm August 20, 2019. Interment Mountain View Memorial Estates.
