Janet Peterson Drake

Janet Peterson Drake died on February 27, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born March 18, 1934 in Lehi, Utah, to Charles and Geneva Peterson. On August 20, 1951, she married Franklin Lee Drake Jr.

Janet loved to camp, travel, four-wheel and sew. She loved collecting many different types of rocks that she would display in her yard. She loved spending time with family. When the family went on four-wheeler trips, she was the leader. She loved to go to lunch and shop with her sisters.

Surviving Janet is her loving husband, Lee; her children: Pam (Craig), Bret (Carolynn), Clay (Suzanne), and Tony (Alyson); 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Lyle.

A graveside service will be held at Noon on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary and Cemetery, 3115 East Bengal Blvd. (7800 South), Cottonwood Heights, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Mortuary from 10:00 AM to Noon.
