Janece Madsen

Janece Madsen died peacefully Monday January 11, 2016. She was born June 8, 1938 to Paul and Orea Christensen Madsen in Salina, Utah. After attending Pleasant Grove High School, Janece worked in the Tithing Office of the LDS Church from which she retired after 45 years of service. She is survived by her sisters Nedra (Merrill) Thompson, Lenna Watkins and Margene (Brad) Bird and brother Neldon (Kay) Madsen and brother-in-law Marcus (Becky) Hamson, as well as many nieces and nephews. Janece is preceded in death by her parents, Sister Vaneta Hamson, brother-in-law Dick Watkins and nephew Ricky Johnstun.  A viewing will be held Thursday, January 14 from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 10:45 to 11:45 AM followed by a graveside service at noon at Redwood Memorial, 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan, Utah. The family would like to thank John, Mary and Trent for the wonderful care she received during the last years of her life.
