Jan Keyzer passed away September 10, 2013 in Salt Lake City. Jan was born March 7, 1917 in Zaandam, Netherlands to Jacob and Brigetta Bone Keyzer.
Jan lived in Holland during the war years. He married Nellie Blokker on November 6, 1947, in Holland. In 1951, after the war, they immigrated to the United States where their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Jan enjoyed fishing. He would smoke the fish after catching them. He loved the taste of smoked fish. He was a butcher by trade and loved his work.
Graveside services will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Salt Lake City Cemetery on 4th Avenue and “N” Street. Funeral Directors: Deseret Mortuary
