Jamie (James) Harold Whipple

February 7, 1968 — May 19, 2024

Jamie (James) Harold Whipple passed away unexpectedly May 19, 2024. Born February 7, 1968 in Salt Lake City to Harold L. and Valerie M. Whipple. Jamie was the oldest of two children. Jamie was a successful entrepreneur in automotive advertising, always looking for new and clever ways to advance his career.

Jamie loved collectibles, his friend in the Secret Service, his Dad, his friends in the automotive industry and his dog Elsie. He led a life of “no limits”. He was a driven and focused entrepreneur starting and running many successful business ventures over the years. He had a deep love of country and patriotism and loved to get involved in many political causes. He had a love of all things Disney and loved to visit the happiest place on earth with his family. His larger-than-life personality and ambitious spirit will be greatly missed.

Jamie is survived by his dad Harold (Cathy) Whipple, sister Tricia (Clete) Landefeld, daughter Ashley Hirschmann, son Zackery Whipple. He is preceded in death by his mother Valerie Selby Whipple Holland.

Ashley (daughter): He will be remembered for his joy of Mickey Mouse, unique collector’s items, Star Wars, Bird’s Nest and The Old Spaghetti Factory. I will miss my dad, and the conversations we had. I’ll miss his laugh, and his quirkiness. I will always hold our special memories close and dear. I love him, and always will.

Zackery (son): Dad, you were a man who stood for whatever it is you believed in, a man who, when faced with adversity, walked right through it. I will miss the metal detecting and the Indiana Jones adventures we went on. I will forever stand up for what I believe in, and I will make your last name one to be remembered. I love and miss you, dad, forever and always.
