The World has lost an amazing man. James (Jim) was born March 31, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John (Giovanni) Naccarato and Mary (Fortunata Gimigliano) Julian Naccarato, died May 29, 2015. Being raised with his brothers and sisters on the family farm in Woods Cross, Utah, produced a multitude of stories and memories of a large Italian Family. He attended Davis High School and joined the C C Camp in 1935, retired after 40 years from the Union Pacific Railroad as a well-respected yard foreman and switchman. Jim married his sweetheart Rosa Lorraine Bradley April 3, 1940. They have 3 children Jim B., Ron L. and Tami Jo. He was very proud of his sons and daughter and loved them so very much. His wife Rosa passed Jan. 15, 1976.
His hobbies were gardening, golfing, gambling at Wendover, and bowling. Jim was lucky enough to meet and marry the second love of his life Lilabeth (Labeth) Southam. They were married on May 5, 1984. She was his angel. Jim enjoyed many trips, reunions and family gatherings. A “character” at heart, you could not help but LOVE him. He knew no strangers.
Preceded in death by brothers: Little Jimmy, Mike, Vic, Albert, Johnny, Joe, and sisters: Thelma Bowden, Mary Stanley and Margie Flynn, also his mother and father.
Survived by Brothers: Frank and Emil (Jr), Sons, Jim B. and wife (Andrea) , Ron L and wife (Sharon), daughter Tami Carlson husband (Bob), Wife Lilabeth, step daughters Tonya Martines, and Michele Tingey. He has 10 grandchildren, 2 step granddaughters, 14 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great, Great grandchildren
Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 6, 2015 at 11:00 am at Mountain View Memorial, 3115 E 7800 S, Cottonwood Heights. A viewing be held Friday June 5, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm and one hour prior to the services. Interment, Mountain View Memorial. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.mountainviewmortuary.com
