James Hewitt

Jim was 81 years old when he passed June 1st from complications of pneumonia. He was born in 1936 in Rocky Ford, Colorado to Hattie Cook Hewitt and Frank Hewitt. He is survived by his wife Joyce M. Peck Hewitt of 64 years and their five children: James L. (Debbie), Janice K. Hansen (Randy), Carol Sutherland (Todd Peck), Kevin L. (Jeannie), David L. (Kristine), 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Frank. Jim worked at ICX as a truck driver, and he worked for Clearwater and Timbercraft as a dispatcher. He loved boating, fishing, traveling, Wendover and working in his yard. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 South Redwood Road, West Jordan UT 84123.
