James “Jim” passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2013. He was born February 13, 1951 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born to Carl and Shirley Dimmick. Jim graduated from South High School in 1969 and soon after married Linda Jetton on June 28, 1969. He worked for Ryder Logistics (Coca Cola) for 31 years. Jim enjoyed trap shooting with the Granger Eagles, fishing, camping with his family, friends and his Harley.
Jim is survived by his forever sweetheart, Linda; daughter, Carla (Wayne) Draper; son, James, Jr. (Barbara) Dimmick; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brother, Ron (Paula) Dimmick; sister, Kathy Dimmick; brother-in-law, John Jetton, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, nephew and great niece.
A viewing will be Monday, Nov. 25, 2013, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again one hour prior to services at Redwood Mortuary, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., West Jordan, Utah. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov 26, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Mortuary. Interment to follow the services at Redwood Memorial Park.
