Jake Violette

Jake Jay Violette passed away on June 13th, 2021.
J.J. was born on May 30th, 2021 to Mkayla Phillips Edwards and Christian Violette. Despite his short time on earth, he was very deeply loved and brought joy to those around him. Some people only dream of Angels, we held one in our arms.
He enjoyed being held close by his parents and loved laying on his mommy’s chest. His grandparents loved having him around. He loved watching Jane the Virgin with his Mommy and he also loved his swing.
His life was brief gift to us all and will live on in our family’s heart forever. His heart valves were donated to save another child.
He is survived by Mkayla Phillips Edwards (mother) & Christian Violette (father), Cameron Edwards (grandpa), Christy Edwards (grandma), Angela Neugebauer(grandma), Austin (Kayla) Phillips (uncle), Robbie Edwards (uncle), Tyson Edwards (uncle), Shy Edwards (aunt), and Aubrie Neugebauer (aunt).
He is preceded in death by Jacob Ray Violette, Great-Grandpa Edwards, Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Hall (Ruth), Great-Grandpa & Great Grandma McCauley, and Great-Grandpa & Great-Grandma Overbey.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 24th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Memorial Murray Mortuary located at 5850 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121. Another viewing will be held on Friday, June 25th from 10:00 – 11:00 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am all at Memorial Murray Mortuary.
Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Park located at 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley, Utah 84120.
