Jacob Lewis Olson

Jacob Lewis Olson, our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away August 12, 2019 at the age of 43. Jacob was born December 12, 1975 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Lewis Olson and Debra Frabotta Olson.
Jacob will always be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit and compassion for his family, friends and his beloved dogs. He had a very spiritual connection with nature and ability to express his feelings in writing poetry and journaling. He had a love for music. He was talented at playing the guitar and composing music.
Jacob will not be defined by his addiction, but rather by the many years of loving life and living it to the fullest. All though Jacob did lose his battle with addiction we know he is at peace.
He is survived by his father, Lewis Carl Olson; mother, Debra Frabotta; step mother, Marcia Olson; brother, Eric Olson; sister, Trina Olson; step brother, Erik Tipton; maternal grandmother, Lillie Frabotta; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephew.
Jacob was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Wava Olson; maternal grandfather, Victor Frabotta; and nephew, Kaiden Rogers.
A time of gathering will be held on Friday,  August 23, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m at Memorial Lake Hills Mortuary and Cemeteries, 10055 State St Sandy, Utah.
