Jacob James Richardson

Jacob James Richardson, age 31, passed away on July 27th, 2017, in Bluffdale, UT. He was born to Kent and Colleen Richardson on May 18th, 1987, in Sandy, UT, and was married to Amy Hendricksen Richardson.
Jacob’s long and hard battle with drug addiction has ended, he is free at last flying with the eagles.
Jacob loved hunting with his dad and brother, all outdoor adventures including camping, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, and four wheeling. His best creation was his son Mason, whom he loved with all his heart. He also loved and adored his step daughters Jade and Zoey. Music was a gateway to his feelings. He loved singing along to all of his favorite music that had meaning to him. He loved to draw and has created many meaningful pieces of art. Both of these helped him escape when he needed to. He also was a great writer and liked to read books of all sorts.He was loved and adored by all of his nieces and nephews. He is always on our minds, forever in our hearts.
Jacob is survived by his wife Amy Richardson, son Mason Jacob Richardson, daughters Jade and Zoey, parents Kent and Colleen Richardson, siblings Tiffany Richardson Reiter (Christian Reiter), Travid Richardson (Shannon Oaks Richardson), and Amber Richardson Wilcox (Kristoffer Wilcox).
He is preceded in death by Jack Richardson, Jimmy Boynton, and Lucille Tuescher Boynton.
A Celebration of life will be held August 4th starting at 6:30 PM at the Wilcox home, 15346 South Mountainside Drive, Bluffdale, UT, 84065.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to Jacob’s son Mason would be very appreciated.
