It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jacob Lee Ford, age 41 who passed away suddenly at his family's mountain property on October 5, 2024.
Jake will be missed by his loving wife Natalia, his companion of 11 years, 4 adoring daughters, Nakalia, Jayda, Lani, and Riley, one sister Hallie (Jeremy) Winters, brother-in-law Francisco Diaz, Parents Julie and Terry Ford, Mother-in-law Maria Diaz, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles and many Cousins.
Jake attended SLCC where he excelled in the automotive mechanics program. He loved spending time with his family, first and foremost. But he also enjoyed the outdoors, camping and hunting especially. Having competed for years in motocross, Jake still closely followed the sport. He loved sports of all kinds. His favorite teams were the Dallas Cowboys (we don't know why), Michigan Wolverines, North Carolina Tarheels, and of course the Argentine National Soccer team with Lionel Messi
Jake was a kind and gentle soul, loved by all who knew him. He was highly regarded in his industry of auto glass as being well learned and industrious. He was always willing to help others with their needs. He was always cheerful with a wonderful sense of humor, always finding something to laugh about.
His happiest moments can be seen in the pictures with him with his family. His face particularly lights up in the pictures with his daughters.
He is proceeded in death by his Father-in-Law, Luis Di Pascua.
