Jackson Scott Stowers

Jackson Scott Stowers, Age 70, died on May 7, 2022, in Salt Lake County, Utah. He was born on October 26, 1951, in Sacramento, California to Jack Burdick Stowers and Rita Boren Stowers.
He loved Karate, fishing and hunting but was content just being in nature. After high school he joined the Marine Corps where he was an instructor in the Communications and Electronics Battalion for the AN/PRC 42 Air to Ground Radio. Scott was appointed as the first Constable in West Valley City, Utah in the 1980’s. His career shifted with the times and expanded to Tooele County, Summit County and Washington County before he retired.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Boren Stowers, brother, Jonathan Lee Stowers, and sister, Rita Kathleen Stowers.
A private spreading of his ashes will be held in the future for close family only.
