Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jackie Warburton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loving family on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at the age of 88.
Born April 8, 1931, to John J. and Olive Drury Payne in Ogden, Utah, she was the youngest of three daughters. While attending Weber State, she met Russell Ernest Warburton. They were married on June 28,1950 in the Salt Lake Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They were married for 69 years, and lived, worked and raised their family in Idaho, Montana, Arizona, Oregon, California, Colorado and Utah. Those who know Jackie, know that she lived a wonderful life, loved her husband, her family and the Church.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, two older sisters, and one grandson. She is survived by her husband and five children: Judy Terry (James), Kaye Christensen (Mark), Paul Warburton (Annette), Thomas Warburton (Shawna), Richard Warburton (Jacqueline), 20 grand-children and 54 great grand-children.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 3rd from 6 – 8 p.m. at Memorial Mountain View Mortuary in Cottonwood Heights. A private family service will be held on Saturday. Jacklyn will be laid to rest at the Memorial Mountain View Cemetery in Cottonwood Heights.Service Information
