Jackie Tuttle

June 21, 1934 — March 19, 2019

Our beautiful, talented, tell you exactly what she thought (even if it was inappropriate and naughty!), spit fire of an amazing, loved and cherished…mom, grandma, and great grandma. Jackie Tuttle left this world with such beauty, poise, dignity and peace with her family surrounding her on the evening of March 19th, 2019.
We all really thought that she would have at least held out til midnight to mark the 7 month anniversary of the passing of her wonderful husband of 38 years, who no doubt met her with open arms and love, along with SO many others who passed before…HOWEVER…our ‘fashion diva’ had to take a little extra time to choose the PERFECT shoes, outfit, nail polish, and jewelry in order to make her entrance to the heavens above absolutely perfect!
On June 21, 1934, Jackie was born to Jack and Lilly Mae Woods (both deceased) in Cotton Plant, AR and was later so happy to have her brother Jim Bob join their family.
Jackie married Lou Rushano of which four wonderful children were born in Poughkeepsie NY; LouAnn, Louis, Marie and Bobby, they later divorced. Jackie then married Ray Edwards in SLC, this union gained her three bonus daughters; Glenda, Karen and Nancy and they later welcomed Renee to complete the family, they later divorced.
Finally on December 5, 1980 Jackie married the love of her life, her prince charming, Paul Tuttle and she instantly gained six amazing stepchildren; Pam (Mark), Fred (deceased/Mary), Jinnie (Mike), Jan (Jerry), Steve (Lori), and Greg (Kari/Deceased). From this union, 22 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild survive Jackie, with another on the way. Grandma and grandpa enjoyed 38 wonderful and adventurous years until his passing August 20, 2018.
Over her life, our mom/grandma enjoyed many things including; bowling, shopping, camping/golfing at Round Valley, shopping, their sweet dog Fang, shopping, doing puzzles or going on road trips with grandpa often ending up at Taggarts’ Grill or stopping to visit Jache at work, shopping, stopping by the bar on Friday afternoons to catch up with friends, shopping, making crafts, peanut brittle and fudge that she spent hours making and loved giving to family and friends, shopping, making baby blankets for all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, shopping, she enjoyed ironing, shopping, going to Mexican food, shopping, watching her Dallas Cowboys-she was the BIGGEST Cowboy fan EVER! In more recent years, although she no longer drank, grandma still loved grandpa to drop her at the bar for a couple hours, drinking a Pepsi just to catch up with friends, it was not uncommon to walk into the house and have grandma and grandpa sitting in their chairs watching Wheel of Fortune or Jeopardy for hours!
Did we mention that she truly loved to go shopping! Jackie was always dressed to the hilt, her clothes had to be perfectly ironed and coordinated to match her shoes, jewelry and nail polish and her hair was always perfect, Stuart, we thank you for your years and years of loyalty in keeping her looking and feeling beautiful!
As a family we want to give a special thanks to her granddaughter; Natasha and her family for their endless, love and 24/7 care for the past 7 months, we know that although it was a blessing, it was not always easy, without your sacrifice, we would not have been able to fulfill grandmas wishes to remain in her home. We want to also thank her daughter, Renee for always being there, to help in any way at moments notice, to take her shopping, spend some time with her and just tell her how much you loved her, she truly did love and appreciate you.
Kelly and Jake we cannot thank you enough for always choosing to spend the Super Bowl with grandma, and for your many surprise visits, along with Jinnie, Mary and others over the past few months, these visits were so cherished and appreciated by not only her but also our entire family.
Our family would like to give our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr Farley and his nurse Shalayne as well as to the incredible staff of IHC Hospice; Dennis, Sherri, Doug, Amber and Trevor, your love, support, care, guidance and jokes to our sweet mom and grandma, as well as to our family over the past month will never be forgotten.
