Jackie Louise Anderson Burrows, age 66, died on April 7, 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on June 3, 1948. She married Lynn Burrows on April 25, 1966.
Jackie passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones after a battle with illness on April 7, 2015. Jackie loved her family and raised them to be as kind and loving as she was. Everyone felt comfortable and cared for when Jackie was with them. Jackie had a way of nurturing people and making them feel loved. She had a fun personality and found laughter in all that she did. She taught her children that laughter is the best medicine, showing them how to laugh, even through life’s most difficult trials. Jackie had many wonderful talents like baking, sewing, tatting, knitting, and crochet. Some of her favorite times in life involved music and its ability to bring family closer. Many memories were made as the whole family enjoyed music together. Jackie’s grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she enjoyed teaching them her talents, and passed her knowledge to them.
We will miss her always. We would like to thank the University of Utah Hospital Staff, especially Dr. Fang and the Cardiology and Palliative Care teams. For Mom: Oh S… She Died!
She is survived by her husband Lynn, son Dennis (Larkin), son Dean (Jessica), daughter Dee (Larry), 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
An Open House to celebrate Jackie’s life for close friends and family will be held at the Burrows residence at 5479 W. Clipper Peak Cr. in Herriman, Utah on Saturday, April 18, 2015 from 7-9 pm.
