Jack Selders

Jack Brent Selders, 61, of Murray Utah passed away peacefully on June 30, 2015 after a long battle with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. He was born on August 12, 1953 the son of Lewis and Laura Selders. He married Julie Gay Neider Selders. She preceded him in death on December 6, 2000. After 8 years of service, Jack was honorably discharged from the US Marine Corps. After 32 years of service Jack retired at the age of 50 from the Federal Aviation Association as an Air Traffic Controller.
Jack had a love of restoring cars and was an avid outdoorsman, not to mention quite the football fan. He loved spending time at the family cabin in the Bear River UT area, but the part he loved most about his hobbies was doing them with his sons.
He is survived by his 4 sons, Gabriel, Matthew, Lewis, and Ross Selders, brother Michael Lewis Selders, and sisters Mary Ellen Call, Peggy Susan Schell, and Laura Marjean Choules.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and brother Ted Leroy Selders of Pocatello Idaho.
A viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Murray Memorial Mortuary, 5850 S 900 E and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8 at the Highland Ward Greenoaks LDS Chapel on 932 Greenoaks Drive, Murray, Utah.
